About Monterey Race Place

The Monterey Race Place is located at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. The Fairgrounds are nestled on 22 oak-studded acres located in the city and county of Monterey.

The Satellite Horse Racing Facility is active year-round. It offers races (depending on the season) from Golden Gates Fields, Santa Anita, Bay Meadows, Del Mar, Hollywood Park, Cal Expo and other major tracks across the country.
