PARK CONVENIENTLY AND RIDE MST FREE TO THE MONTEREY COUNTY FAIR AUGUST 12-16, 2009
Fairgoers this year will be able to park conveniently and ride a dedicated shuttle bus from Monterey Peninsula College (Lots A and B) to the Gate 4 of the Monterey County Fairgrounds. From 11:00 AM to Midnight, from August 12-16, 2009, the Monterey Salinas Transit will provide a comfortable bus ride to and from the Fairgrounds at no charge with advance Fair tickets.
The bus shuttle is designed to make visits to the Monterey County Fair easier and more enjoyable, as well as to reduce parking congestion. For the safety of MST passengers and other Monterey County Fair attendees, please use caution in and around buses and refrain from walking in front of or near buses as they approach the loading and unloading areas.

MONTEREY COUNTY FAIR FEATURES SPECIAL FREE 'TIL 3 - FREE ADMISSION UNTIL 3:00 PM ON KIDS' DAY ON OPENING DAY, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 12, 2009
The 73rd Annual Monterey County Fair will be held Wednesday, August 12th through Sunday, August 16th at the Monterey County Fairgrounds, and a special Kids' Day will be held on Opening Day, August 12th. Kids ages 12 and under will be admitted free that day. To honor the kids in all of us, for the first time ever, the Monterey County Fair will have "Free 'til Three" program which features free entry to the Monterey County Fair from Noon until 3:00 PM with a canned or a non-perishable food donation to the Monterey County Food Bank which is desperately short on food this year.
