Volunteers Needed for the 2009 Monterey County Fair in exchange for Free Passes and Fun!
More than 200 volunteers are needed for the 73rd Annual Monterey County Fair taking place between August 12 and August 16 at the Fairgrounds in Monterey.
In exchange for time, volunteers will receive free passes to the Fair!
Volunteers must be at least 16 years old-High School volunteers who meet the age requirement can earn community service credits for their work. From July 26 to August 22, there are a variety of shifts and duties available to choose from.
Other volunteer duties include setting up buildings and monitoring exhibits during the Fair and take down afterwards.
More than 65,000 people attended last year's Monterey County Fair and enjoyed a wide variety of food, fun and entertainment. The theme of this year's Fair is "Reel in the Fun" to the Monterey County Fair.
